Carol asks…Why can't I keep herb plants alive?A few weeks about I bought five herb plants on sale for $0.50. Except for the basil which was a bit drooped, they looked healthy.
I got thyme, basil, tarragon, sage, and bay. The bay tree is doing fine. The basil plant died within a couple of days. The tarragon is well on its way out (a few leaves are still green but the rest are browny yellow). The sage is green but drooping. The thyme was looking good but I noticed this morning that the
